PodMatrix

PodMatrix, 2016

Originally an alternative concept to NeuroModulator; PodMatrix is a light sculpture designed to create light
animations with a twist of glow in the dark surface.

We designed it to be suspended from an upper support, giving the illusion of “floating” at night.

12 of the Pods are mounted on a dodecahedral frame to create a stellated
geometric light installation.

It can be programmed to animate by motion, sound or on by its own.

It consists of 144 pixels total divided by 12 columns and 8 rows.

Each pod is itself is a column and has 8 rows on it.
